Food distribution by Archana, head of Admin and Accounts at DBM in Rajapur (Ratnagiri). Archana along with her sister provided food grains to the daily wage earners & extremely poor people of ONI village of Ratnagiri district. This kind gesture of hers helped the villagers who earn daily but unfortunately the daily income has stopped due to Corona Virus.

– Anita Chaugule is 45yrs old lady working with one of the resort as a house keeping staff, the resort is shut down due to Corona virus, hence all the staff is free from the job they are at home without any daily wages she earns ₹200/- per day. Anita’s husband is cleaning farms on daily wages, but use his daily earnings in drinking alcohol, Anita’s both the daughters help her in her house work and do their studies in schools.

– 55 years old Laxmi Bhalchandra Bhavkar lady staying along with her son who is mentally disabled and it is very difficult for her to work on daily wages in the house of villagers where she prepare food or prepare floor work out of cow dung, she also work in garden and farm cleaning. She thanks god and DBM for such a wonderful and big support of providing food grains stuff for their family.

– Ravikant Goruley, 37yrs after operation of vertebral column, his body is now unfit to work. He is staying along with his old mother and one daughter and his wife is swiping the garden, waadi, farms etc, on daily wages. Ravikant being handicap and couldn’t work hard in the farm and the villagers has given him the small work of water supply on daily wages. So he is thank full of DBM to receive the grocery items at this bad period.

– Yamuna Gitya 69 years old is a widow women staying alone after her husband’s accidental death, she no income only keeps watch in the waadi of casewnut on daily wages but in this current situation she has no work and her income has stopped too. She gives blessings to DBM and DBM team members.
