A lot has happened since the last update was sent by us –
1. A number of donors have donated oxygen concentrators and we have been able to help needy families with them. These are available for use from our centers at Khar, Chembur, Breach Candy etc. A big thanks to :-

2. On May 31st we launched our Nursing Course at Pune in collaboration with The Ekalavya Initiative. This is the Shushrusha Patient Aid Nursing Course which teaches our girls to become capable nurses. The emphasis along with skill training is on Service to the Patient. The Training period is 6 months with an interactive teaching methodology. The students get a stipend during their entire learning period. We wish our students the very best in their journey of creating a respectable career in the field of Nursing.
3. DBM has started two new courses at our new center at Juinagar – Digital Marketing and Hardware & Networking in Collaboration with NIIT Foundation and the training for both courses have started. This free for all Course has truly excited Students of Navi Mumbai and we are happy and excited that so many college students are taking up this opportunity to make a career in upcoming fields.
4. Similarly at our DBM Udaan center both the batches for Chote Parindee have started and around 40 young children have started their journey.
5. We held one more career specific workshop for our Patang Scholarship Students. This one was on career in Technology and was taken by our DBM Team Director – Vinod Jayakumar and the session was well received.
6. BKK Memorial Foundation led by Mr. Bhupinder Kohli has also been helping DBM in its various projects. From providing PPE kits and Chairs for our Udaan center, he has recently sponsored ration kits for three very needy families for one entire year!. A big thank you to him.
