JITO organizes a trade fair every year to help the Jain business community.

JITO is a global organisation set to achieve socio-economic empowerment, value-based education, community welfare, the practice of compassion, the spread of global friendship and spiritual upliftment of fellow beings.

This year the company selected and allowed a few NGOs to showcase their work at the fair so that the community can associate with them and offer them to help if they desired. DBM was privileged to be one of the few selected NGOs (courtesy our DBM friend- Ms Sujata Singhi). We put up our stall for 3 days starting from 15th March to 17th March showcasing our various projects and all the major initiatives we undertook since inception. There was a noteworthy number of visitors in the stall. Many of them were appreciative of our work and offered to help us and be a part of our ‘Hunger-free-India’ mission. Amongst the visitors a few of them have offered volunteers to lend a hand to our children and youth, others have offered to assist our tailoring students to get work post completion of their training, and others offered to consider funding us under their CSR projects. While these proposals may take time to fructify, yet it was a great opportunity to showcase our work to the Jain community who are considered one of the most influential sections of Mumbai business scene and also a dynamic business community. We hope to be there in the next year’s edition too!
