Dharma Bharathi Mission works on several issues for the betterment of our society and strives to identify, solve problems from the ground level. Apart from the internal initiatives, Dharma Bharathi Mission also organizes and works on several external programs. Like every year, this year too on 23rd August 2019 DBM along with ‘The Public Concern for Governance Trust’, ‘Bombay Chartered Accountants Society’,’The Chamber Of Tax Consultants in Mumbai’ organized the 4th Narayan Varma Memorial Lecture & N.V. Memorial Awards. This event is conducted to commemorate the legacy of one of our founder trustees Shri Narayanbhai who was a great professional, philanthropist and more importantly a wonderful human being.

The event was presided by top professionals and prominent individuals. The ceremony was attended by all top CA’s, auditors and people associated with the social sector. The DBM N.V. Memorial Award was given to Adyayan Sanstha, a grassroots organisation doing commendable work in improving science and mathematics education. The memorial lecture was delivered by Shri Y H Malegam, who is a renowned CA and legend in the financial sector and was accorded Padma Shri. The event addressed a serious issue: Recent failures of large companies have created mistrust of auditors.

The event has been successful because of the effort and tireless work done by Ms. Farheen Peshimam (Secretary, NIT) . She coordinated with all the 3 other partner companies to organize this prestigious event.
