The NSS students of Gurunanak College went on a rural camp to Khanav, a small village in Raigad District, around 11 km from Panvel. Around 200 women had gathered at the spot. DBM Volunteers who went with the students gave a short brief about the work done by DBM, how women are empowered by various activities at the DBM centers, Mid Day meal program, etc.
Post this, volunteers distributed 100 bags to these women which were made by women at the Govandi center.
