As we all know, From April 1 a new financial year commences. So while FY 20-21 has started, Government has allowed people to do certain expenditures to claim tax rebate, till 30th June 2020 for the last FY 19-20. In view of this amendment, any donations made between 1st April’2020 till 30th June’2020, the donor should specify the FY for which they want to make donation.

Further as per budget passed for this year, PAN is now to be given compulsory for each and every donation made from 1st April 2020.

Hence, all donors are requested to provide 2 things while making donation:

1. The FY (19-20 or 20-21) in which they would like to donate.
2. PAN number.
