Rotary Club of Deonar on the 27th of July partnered with DBM India to support Economic and Community Development with Skill Training. They have identified 40 Students who are dedicated and hardworking and are supporting their MS-CIT Course at the DBM India Vocational Center at Trombay.

Despite pandemic and the inability of the schools to conduct online classes, the children in the schools in M-ward, Mumbai supported by us, have exceedingly well and we thank all our partners who helped us in conducting online classes for them.
DBM’s Learning Centre- Udaan….as the name suggests it gives wings to our young slum Learners….to take a Flight from the Routine to more. From mere rote learning to Interactive and Exploratory learning. On 17th July we complete 2 months of this pilot project. – The students are super dedicated, curious

In view of the fact that people are letting their guard down and the impending third wave, we have, with the generous help of GiveIndia distributed N95 masks to around 10000 families in the slums of Govandi, Trombay, Mankhurd including the families of policemen who are working and living there.
